We’re excited to be part of a wonderful event this Thursday, October 6, from 6:00-8:00, at the new MLK School in Cambridge. The City of Cambridge’s Extended Learning STEAM network has organized a series of “STEAM in the City” events, bringing free STEAM activities to schools and community centers. We will have a table at the next event: “STEAM in Riverside”! The event will run from 6:00-8:00pm at the MLK School on Putnam Ave. It’s free, no advance registration is needed, and food will be provided. There will be lots of fun science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) activities for all ages.
At the Muckykids table, you can explore reflection, symmetry, and light with hands-on art and science activities. We’ll observe the paths of light with mirrors and lasers; watch how drawings reflect and change under hinged mirrors; and create spin drawings with circuits and motors.
Please join us for this free event at the MLK School, Thursday October 6 from 6:00-8:00.
