Drop-In Studio activities for March 6 – 8: This week we are making crowns in celebration of Muckykids turning 4! Yay!! Choose a crown base and decorate with all sorts of crafty goodies. We’re also doing two annual traditions, which are activities I had out on the very first week of drop-in: quilting and playing with clay. The quilting activity is with fusible fabric that can be arranged onto a larger price of felt. We’ll iron it for you and then it can be embellished more with fabric markers… makes for a great lovie or doll blanket! At the paint table we are spray painting with liquid watercolors. With various stencils at hand, the possibilities are endless – and the results, exciting. In the true spirit of Muckykids, one of the activities is recycle craft, a.k.a “make something”. :) Play Shapes, beautiful sculpture blocks, will be set up on the back bench. Brayers and tempera paint will be set up at the easel.
