Fall classes are open for registration!

All Sensory Fun sections are now full, but we still have a few spaces left in Craft Class and Science Studio for older kids.

The Fall 2012 class lineup is set and registration is now open. Classes start September 17 and run for 8 weeks. I’m very excited to announce that for this Fall, we have class offerings for every age from 18 months to 9 years!

For the youngest kids (18 – 36 months), we’ll be offering the usual four sections of our popular Sensory Fun class on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Sensory Fun is a wonderful opportunity to participate in your young child’s artistic exploration and discovery.

For kids aged 3 through 6, we’re offering a new Craft Class on Monday and Wednesday afternoons (sections are divided by age: Wednesdays for 3’s and 4’s, Mondays for 5’s and 6’s). Each week we’ll focus on a new crafting technique; some of the classes will include mobiles, needlepoint, bookmaking, puppets and paper dolls.

And for 7, 8, and 9 year olds, we’ll again be offering the Science Studio that we started last Spring. In Science Studio, we apply the Muckykids philosophy of hands-on, experiential, child-centered learning to science. This was something of an experiment last Spring, and it was a blast for us and for the kids. We’re very happy to be offering it again!
