Week 4: Sculpt and Paint (July 18 – 22)

Over the course of this week, we will explore various forms of sculpting and painting. We will look at additive and reductive forms of sculpture and play with kinetic vs. static forms. We will explore 2D vs 3D by drawing our completed sculptures and making sculptures of our completed paintings! We will experience how dynamic painting can be with drip-paintings, watercolor and salt, pendulum painting, spray painting, and painting with golf balls. We might even sculpt with a painting or two. Our collaborative construction this week will be making an art museum to house our masterpieces.
