Paper, Tape, and Fiber for 6-8s: Wednesdays at 1:00 (Spring 2021)

Wednesdays at 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
05/12/2021 - 06/09/2021

Paper, Tape, and Fiber (Ages 6-8) – 2 hrs x 5 weeks
In this class we will divide our time between stitching projects and sculpting bird families (or another animal family of choice) and their homes. Our parent birds and eggs will be made with paper & tape, our nests with items from nature and fiber remnants. As our painted paper projects dry, we will practice stitching into cardboard, cork and felt, stitching nameplates for bedroom doors, and finally sewing baby birds for our nests. If time allows in this mini semester, we will venture into weaving and batik. Enrollment limited to 7 per section.
