Drop-In Studio Activities for May 25 – 27: This week we have some mellow rainy day activities. At the back tables try out needlepoint. Add beads to your stitches for an added element. The finished needlepoint can be turned into a pendant by adding string. At the sensory table we have the ever-calming Oobleck. A magical substance! We have a sculpture activity, turning 2D paper and foam strips into 3D. A fun exploration of connecting the strips and manipulating them into sculptural forms. The paint table has color mixing with liquid watercolors. The sticky table is open for temporary compositions. The light table is on the back bench. And the front bench is mail making, a fun mark making and make believe activity.
