Drop-In Studio activities for July 10 and 11 (closed July 12 due to unexpected events):

This week we have two nature crafts. One is making dioramas using pinecones, twigs, stones, nature-inspired fabrics and papers, plus tons of other goodies. The other nature activity is nature wands. Wrap a stick with colorful yarn, add decorative tapes and maybe a wooden bead or two and presto! A nature wand!! We have the cornstarch builders out, which lend themselves nicely to both of the above activities. We have printing at the paint table and liquid watercolors at the easel. The sensory table has cornstarch and water to play with — awesome stuff! There’s mail-making, as well as our homemade magnetic sculpture set to play with.
