Drop-In Activities for May 9 – 11: We have Mother’s Day activities this week! At the back tables we are making super colorful cards using decorative papers, all sorts of stickers, washi tapes, fabric pieces, tinsel, and markers. We are also making key chains using shrinky dink paper – draw an original design and we will shrink it for you. Attach it to a key ring or add it to a beaded necklace or bracelet. At another table we are ‘planting gardens’ to take home for Mother’s Day. The gardens are a sculptural activity using upcycled Styrofoam pieces as the ground and the flowers are made from super colorful and interesting supplies that fit onto pipe cleaner stems. The easel wall has liquid watercolors for painting with. The paint table has painting dino figures for a 3D painting experience. The sensory table has playdough. The back bench has mirrors, prisms, and flashlight for optics play. And the front bench has animal stamps.
