Drop-In activities for Mar 13 – 15

Drop-In Studio activities for March 13 – 15: This week we have needlepoint at the back tables. Using a blunt tapestry needle, stitch into plastic mesh and watch as the lines (stitches) turn into a design! At the painting table there is mono printing. Paint on a tray, draw into the paint, rub a piece of felt over design… pull it off and you have a print. Mirror drawings, as well as magnet play are on the side benches. At the sensory table we have wood pieces, animals and tools for ‘constructing with play dough’. Bleeding tissue paper and water are set up for magical and interesting color mixing. We also have supplies for designing necklaces badges.
