Drop-in activities for July 5 – 7

Drop-In Studio activities for July 5 – 7: This week we are making glow-in-the-dark pictures, learning how to needlepoint (with blunt needles!), experimenting with stitching in paper and cork (sharper needles for older kids), and constructing/sculpting with cornstarch builders. For those who are more sensory inclined we will have playdough, plus paint with pasta, tongs and animals. We will have a “will it sink or float?” activity table for fun with prediction, experimentation and observation. Last, but not least, there will be dot painters with coffee filters for colorful compositions!
