Drop-In Activities for January 3 – 5: Happy New Year! This week we are making collaged artist cards. You can design one or an entire set of cards using magazines for text and imagery, decorative papers, stickers, rub-on letters and numbers, fun markers, and washi tape. At the paint table we are using stencils with paint. Using a dabbing technique or by painting thru the stencils you can get really interesting results, especially if you overlap the paint layers. We have foam and wire sculpture on one of the front tables, for an open-ended sculpting experience. Painting rocks with water is on the front bench. Recycle craft is on the back bench. The easel wall has liquid watercolors. The sensory table has play dough, tools, horse and people figures, and faux flowers. We also have oil pastels paired with letter stamps for fun mark making.
