Drop-In Studio activities for July 16 – 18

This week we have a neat construction activity using paper strips. Shape, bend and crease the strips and attach to a base using various adhesives — fun, open-ended and colorful! We are also using cornstarch builders for sculpting… moisture is the ashesive for this one. At the paint table there are animals set up for painting on. Brushes and tempera paints are at the easel. At another table, sticks are being turned into nature wands. Recycle craft is out, as well as magnet play. Oobleck is ready for exploration at the sensory table.
