Drop-In Studio Activities for January 26 – 28: This week we are starting a bit of Valentine making… if you want. Lots of colorful paper strips can be connected into paper chains, heart shapes or paper bracelets. Connect the strips with tape or paper fasteners. On the back tables we are sculpting with cornstarch builders, pipe cleaners, and wooden craft sticks. Very fun and open-ended. We have three painting activities this week: painting with small brushes with tempera paint at the easel wall, watercolors, and painting bubble wrap and making prints. The front side bench has stamps and stickers. The back bench has a tool bench. The sensory table has slime and big dinosaurs. And on the back wall we are building a marble run.
