Drop-In Studio activities for January 21 – 23

Drop-In Studio activities for January 21 – 23: This week we are building mini castles, or any other 3D construction that the supplies inspire. We’re using upcycled materials, plus colorful craft supplies for this project. Magic tissue paper is another activity this week. Brush water on a base paper, put the magic tissue on, add a bit more water, lift up the tissue and the color stays on the base paper! This is a fun activity for color mixing, too. At the paint table we are doing bubble wrap printing. At the sensory table slime is out. Shrinky dinks and beading are set up. Also, our big castle and the marble run are still holding strong. Shape blocks and letter stamps are on the side benches. Big brushes are at the easel wall with glittery blue paint.
