Drop-In Studio activities for January 1 – 3: Happy New Year! (Yes, we’re open New Year’s Day!) To bring in 2015 we have two noisemaker activities. The first is making celebration wands using ribbons, streamers, stickers, colored tape, wire and bells. Shake the colorful wands and ring in the new year. The second is rice and bean shakers – it’s also a sensory play activity. We have a recycle craft activity set up on the back tables – invent something! We also have magnet play, mail making, easel painting, and color mixing. Plus, there’s a huge batch of purple playdough to cut, squish and squeeze.
