Drop-In Studio Activities for February 22 – 24: This week we are crafting paper pouches with upcycled calendar pages as well as plain paper. Seam the sides of your 2- fold pouch with washi tapes, adhesive vinyl, or scotch tape. At the same table we are making art cards and wooden coins/tokens that your pouch can hold. We have fun markers to add details with. This week we are also doing needlepoint! Use a blunt tapestry needle and yarn or a pipe cleaner to make stitches. Add beads for embellishment. We have a sculpture activity with craft sticks, upcycled stickers, paper towel roll sections, and colored masking tape – can’t wait to see what comes from this table. The sensory table has Oobleck to play with. The easel wall has objects to print with. The paint table has dinos, cars and paint. The back bench has a color sorting game. And the front bench has good old markers and paper.
