Drop-In Studio activities for December 1 – 3

Drop-In Studio activities for December 1 – 3: This week our holiday crafting continues with wooden ornaments. We are coloring them with bleeding tissue paper and oil pastels. A beautiful combination! At one of the front tables you can sculpt with cornstarch builders, pipe cleaners and wooden craft sticks. Another activity is making sparkly winter-themed garlands. We are upcyclying boxes into collaged gift boxes. Always nice to have a few gift boxes on hand. ☺ The paint table has vehicles and paint. The sensory table is loaded with slime – a studio favorite. Brushes and tempera paint are at the easel. And on the front side bench we have a very satisfying fine motor activity, picking up pompoms with mini tongs and putting them into plastic bottles. Our airplane is still taking trips, too.
