Drop-In Studio Activities for August 4 – 6: This week we are combining two of our favorite supplies – bleeding tissue paper and oil pastels. Drawing with the pastels first or using the water and tissue first show very different results. Trying both is recommended. Cut paper collage is another activity this week. We are collaging onto dark paper for a different effect. At the back tables we have cornstarch builders and cardboard bases for sculpting. The paint table has dinosaur figures to paint. The easel wall has stamps and paint. On the front side bench a fun assortment of stickers and markers are out for more ice cream shop decorating or for taking home. Purple slime is at the sensory table. And the play shapes are on the back bench.
