Holiday crafting workshops – for grown-ups! (Dec 5 + 6)

Muckykids is hosting an adults-only holiday crafting workshop! The idea is to offer
3 crafts that are quick, successful and unique. We want you to leave the workshop with a pile of gifts, decorations and cards that you are looking forward to sharing with family and friends.

Garlands: Using you child’s art work, we will cut circles using a fun machine, you can mount the circles on colored paper, and we will sew the garland together on a sewing machine or attach to the string with adhesives. Start saving their art work and bring to the workshop!!

Spirelli Ornaments and Decorations: Spirelli is a beautiful craft using string that is wrapped around notched paper, creating geometric patterns. They can be used as ornaments, gifted as ornaments, attached together as a garland, or used as embellishment on cards.

Card and Gift Tag Printing: We will draw into styrofoam trays and use as printing plates. With the plate you can print holiday cards to send, make sets of cards as gifts, and/or print onto gift tags. If you would like to use your child’s art for the printing, we will provide the styrofoam ahead of time if needed. At home, have your child draw an image, design, or their toddler marks. Bring the plate into the workshop and you can use that! Or do both.

We’re offering the workshop twice, on two December evenings:
Section 1: Tuesday December 5th 6:30-9:30pm
Section 2: Wednesday December 6th 6:30-9:30pm

The price is $35.00 per grown-up for one evening. This is an adults-only event, so please bring the kiddos’ artwork for up-cycling but leave the kiddos home. :)
