Drop-In Studio activities for September 17 – 19: This week we are designing badges – they can be train conductor badges, artist badges, or even magic badges! We have recycle craft set up next to the train, so additions can be made. Rainbow wands are waiting to be crafted using colorful sticky foam and craft sticks. At the paint table we are making mono prints using cookie sheets, paint and cotton swabs – a super fun process! Circle printing is set up at the easel. The magnetic sculpture set is out for 3D explorations. We have mini chalkboards out with pots of water and paintbrushes. Paint with the water and watch how shiny and dark the board gets and, if patience allows, watch the water evaporate. The sticky wall is back and slime is at the sensory table.
