Drop-In Studio Activities for September 28 – 30: This week we are making recycled rockets! Turn a paper towel tube into a ship that blasts off with an astronaut on board. At the paint table we are printmaking by painting on trays, drawing into the paint, and burnishing paper onto of design. Pull up the paper for your print! The sensory table has clay paired with construction vehicles and dough tools. We have a gluing activity with colored glue and fabric, paper, and wood scraps… plus glitter. :) brushes are at the easel wall with warm colors. Shrinky dinks and beading are on one of the front tables. And on the back bench the Play Shapes blocks are out to build with.
