Drop-In Studio activities for May 4 – 6

Drop-In Studio Activities for May 4 – 6: This week we are building nests! Make a cozy and safe place for wooden eggs and birdies. On the back tables we have wooden tops. You can draw directly onto the wood and then do additional designs on papers – how do they differ when you spin them? At the paint table we have both bubble wrap printing and painting with racecars and trucks. The easel wall has liquid watercolors to paint with. We have shrinky dinks and beading. Make a necklace or a backpack charm. At the sensory table we are playing with clay. On the front bench we have hinged mirrors with laminated images to manipulate in the reflections. The back bench has the tool bench for hammering fun!
