Drop-In Studio Activities for July 6 – 8: This week we have a beautiful string art activity, called spirelli. Give it a try – the results are amazing! At the sensory table we are playing the cloud dough. A super soft sensory experience. We have a very colorful glue collage activity that includes literacy and shape recognition, using letters and wooden shapes. With wooden craft sticks, tape and markers we are building linear shapes and 2D structures. Add a string and it can become a balance mobile. The paint table has color mixing. The easel wall has tempera paint and brushes. The back bench has Play Shapes to build with. And the front bench has hammering into big foam blocks.
