Drop-In Studio Activities for August 10 – 12: This week we’re “baking” cupcakes. Fill a cupcake liner with filling, frost with colored glue, and decorate with colorful embellishments. Make a whole plate full! At the back tables we are making art cards. They can be trading cards, treasure cards, or turned into a tape-bound book. The paint table has watercolor palettes and oil pastels. The sensory table has play dough and nature for creative pretend play. The back bench has a mini sculpture gallery that can be added to… there are supplies for open-ended connecting/sculpting. Shrinky dinks are another choice this week, an old favorite.
