Drop-In Studio Activities for April 27 – 29: This week we are creating spring dioramas. Start with a flat piece of cardboard or a box and build up from there. Add as many flowers, as much grass and embellishment as you want!! At the back tables you can make fairies, birds and other friends to live in your springtime scene. At the paint table we have neat panels with open shapes for printmaking. Try ‘over printing’ with different colors and shapes for added visual interest. Oobleck is at the sensory table. Brushes with sparkly paint are at the easel. On the front bench there are markers, stamps, and stickers for open-ended compositions. The back bench has magnet play.
